PlastiComp announced it has completed installation of an additional pultrusion line dedicated to manufacturing long carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic composite pellets at its Winona, Minn., location.
PlastiComp’s quality management system, which guides the design and manufacture of its composite pellet products and LFT technology solutions the firm delivers using those materials, has received certification to the newest ISO 9001:2015 standard for quality systems.
PlastiComp recently completed a capital improvement project at its Winona, Minn., manufacturing and corporate headquarters facility which moved its research and development functions into a dedicated laboratory space.
Based on its analysis of the long fiber composites market, Frost & Sullivan recognized PlastiComp with the 2015 North American Frost & Sullivan Award for New Product Innovation for our hybrid long glass+carbon fiber composites.
