WINONA, MINN., USA — PlastiComp, Inc., a leading technology company in the field of reinforced polymer composites, today announced that it has hired Raj Mathur as Business Development Manager. Raj will help PlastiComp further evolve its advanced materials and processes, particularly Pushtrusion® Direct Long Fiber Reinforced Thermoplastic (D-LFT) technology and Complet®, Long-Fiber Reinforced Thermoplastic (LFT) pellet technology.

Mathur has over 18 years experience in strategic program and product management, with ten of those years focused on international markets and development. He has served as consultant and manager for key industry leaders, including: Imation Corporation, Conoco, and HITCO Carbon Composites Inc.
Mathur received his Bachelor degree in Metallurgical Engineering and his Master and PhD degrees in Materials Science and Engineering. He also holds an Executive M.B.A. degree from Rotterdam School of Management and has four patents in the Aerospace, Automotive, Chemical, Building & Construction, and Semiconductor industries. He was awarded the Morton S. Traum Award for Best Research at Doctoral Level.
