About the Job: PlastiComp is a leading name in the field of long fiber materials providing materials, technology and equipment to our global customers. The successful candidate will plan, coordinate and direct the IT related activities of the company as well as providing direction and support for the department’s daily operational activities. The IT Manager will work closely with the decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategy and Planning
|
Lead IT Department’s operational and planning, including allocation of resources
Make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the IT infrastructure and systems
Manage the financial aspects of the department
Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analysis for IT spending
Operational Management
Deploy, monitor, maintain, upgrade and support of all IT systems, including servers, PC’s, operating systems, phone systems, hardware and software.
Lead, enhance implementation and support a fully integrated business system (IQMS) and its users.
Provide end-user services, including help desk and technical support services
Work with stakeholders to define business and system requirements for new technology implementations

Education and Experience:
|
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS or similar major
5 or more years of experience
Strong background in networking, data base management and programming
Strong background in Integrated Business Systems (IQMS preferred)
Experience with media technology
