PlastiComp LLC, a leading technology company in the field of long fiber reinforced polymercomposites, announced that it has hired Michael Sandeen as Director of Sales. Michael will manage and support continued sales growth of PlastiComp’s advanced materials and process technology services. “I am very excited to join PlastiComp because of its engineering plastics capabilities, strong position in target industries, and excellence in serving customer needs,” said Sandeen.
“I originally hired Michael in the early 90’s, when I was CEO of Ticona Celstran,” said Steve Bowen, PlastiComp President & CEO. “Since then, Michael has gained management experience with GE Plastics and Victrex, and now we are back together at PlastiComp. Things are moving much faster in our industry today. I hope that I can keep up with him and also provide the insight to maintain PlastiComp’s technology leadership position in the LFT market.”
Sandeen has over twenty years of experience in the high-performance polymer and composite materials industry, having served in multiple technical and business development leadership roles..
