Rhonda
Puetz has been named Customer Services Manager for PlastiComp™,
Inc., company president Steve Bowen announced today.
In her new role, Puetz is responsible for all support for
customers and sales representatives, public relations and
marketing analysis and office management.
Puetz has enjoyed a long career in the thermoplastics industry.
She was formerly Customer Development Manager at RTP, Inc.
in Winona, a high technology manufacturer of specialty thermoplastic
compounds. At RTP, she was responsible for marketing functions
supporting seven domestic and overseas manufacturing plants.
She has held similarly successful positions at Ticona Celstran
and Fiberite, Inc.
For PlastiComp™, Inc., Puetz is working to further develop
the sales, marketing and customer service activities to support
the company’s Pushtrusion® technology. In the Pushtrusion®
composites molding process, fiber and molten polymers are
fed directly into the injection molding barrel while still
hot, eliminating the need for pre-compounded resin pellets
and giving molders the ability to maintain longer fiber lengths.
Composite product performance is greatly increased, while
costs are lowered dramatically. Pushtrusion® technology
is compact and can be retrofit to existing conventional injection
molding machines.
“Rhonda brings significant knowledge and experience
in the thermoplastics industry and marketing and sales support
to PlastiComp™, Inc.,” said Steve Bowen. “Her
work will help bring this revolutionary technology quickly
to market.”
