Teacher in the Workplace at PlastiComp
PlastiComp’s participation in a Teacher in the Workplace program was featured in an article which appeared in the Winona Daily News.
The program organized by the Winona Area Chamber of Commerce placed high school teachers at local manufacturers so they can learn about workforce needs and incorporate experiences into their classroom curriculum.
Bill Braun a science teacher at Winona Senior High school spent a week working hands-on at PlastiComp during June. He learned it all — from pultrusion line operation to computer-aided application design and composite material performance analysis.
