Maxxam™ foamable polypropylene (PP) formulations, for solid and cellular structures, are developed specifically for wire and cable applications. The foamable PP copolymers feature a pre-dispersed blowing agent, enabling up to 60% expansion and streamlined processing. By decreasing the density, they deliver excellent primary insulation performance by reducing capacitance, minimizing signal loss, and supporting consistent electrical integrity.  

With better heat and crush resistance versus foamed PE and FEP, Maxxam foamable formulations also include options for non-ADCA and non-halogen, low smoke and fume, and flame retardancy. Developed to meet the evolving demands of the industry, our PP solutions provide manufacturers with high-performance materials that enable innovation and excellence.
